Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using AlliedCareConnect services. Last updated: January 2024

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using AlliedCareConnect services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Services Provided

AlliedCareConnect provides a platform connecting clients with allied health professionals, nurses, and care organisations. We facilitate appointments, referrals, and care coordination but are not directly providing clinical services. All clinical care is provided by registered health professionals.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.

4. Booking and Cancellation Policy

Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur fees as per your funding agreement. Refunds are subject to the terms of your funding source (NDIS, Aged Care, Private).

5. Fees and Payment

Service fees are as quoted at the time of booking. Payment terms vary by funding source. For private clients, payment is required on the day of service. For NDIS and Aged Care clients, billing is handled directly with your funding provider.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and our Privacy Policy. All health information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and professional confidentiality requirements.

7. Provider Responsibilities

All providers on our platform are required to maintain current registration with their professional body (e.g., AHPRA), hold appropriate insurance, and comply with all relevant professional standards and codes of conduct.

8. Limitation of Liability

AlliedCareConnect acts as a platform facilitator and is not liable for the clinical services provided by independent health professionals. Our liability is limited to the facilitation of the platform. Clinical care is the responsibility of the treating health professional.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of AlliedCareConnect or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the state of Victoria. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
